When it comes to starting on pointe, the first pair of shoes is all about transition. 🩰 The shank shouldn’t be too thick. Your feet need to be able to get over it. There’s a grey area between not being ready and being fully ready, and it’s different for everyone. For some, it takes six months, for others, a year. The important part is that the classes themselves help you build the strength and technique to get there safely.
