I keep my hands busy and productive by making polymer clay canes that require few tools... all I need is an acrylic roller and my blade. The tools definitely help in making more blends and complex canes, but you can still make intricate designs with just a simple bullseye cane. Polymer clay canes, if stored properly, CAN still be used years later. I don't know exactly when I made this one but it was at least 15 years ago. I'm pretty sure I used Sculpey Premo clay. It was wrapped in plastic cling wrap and stored in a plastic box along with other canes. It's a bit crumbly but I was able to make a few beads with it. They baked and polished up just fine, as you can see. #polymerclaycane #sculpey #handmadebeads
