Snygg potatis är just det… Inget fancy men det blir extra tjusigt för att det är snyggt för ögat! För 6-8 personer: - ca 1,5 kg potatis 🥔 - olivolja - 100 g smör 🧈 - 3-4 vitlöksklyftor - färsk timjan - salt - peppar Gör såhär: Sätt ugnen på 220 grader varmluft. Skala potatisen och lägg den i kallt vatten i ca 15 minuter. Använd mandolin (eller hushållsassistent) för att få tunna skivor. Lägg skivorna i vatten så de inte blir bruna. Smält smöret i en kastrull. Lägg i vitlök och färsk timjan, låt puttra. Häll av potatisskivorna i durkslag. Ta fram en rund ugnsform. Häll lite olivolja i botten och salta. Jag använde flingsalt. Börja sedan lägga ner potatisskivorna, ta gärna hjälp av en mugg för att få stöd i början. Fortsätt med skivorna. Det tar en j*vla tid men är ändå värt. När mönstet är klart, häll över smörblandningen, ringla över olivolja samt krydda med salt och peppar. Baka mitt i ugnen i ca 30-40 min. Ni kan behöva lägga på folie en stund för att inte bränna potatisen. Känn med en potatissticka så ni vet när den är klar. Salta, peppra och lägg över mer färsk timjan innan servering. ✅ ( såklart borde man lägga skivorna i storleksordning men det tålamodet har inte jag). #potatis #potatoes #potatoesrecipes #mat #foodies

One-pan potato made by the Potato Queen herself @poppy_cooks 🥔👑 using our Tefal Ingenio pan. How gorgeous does this look? This one-pan potato is perfect to be paired with your Sunday Roast 🍽️ Ingredients: 4 - 6 Maris piper potatoes (peeled & sliced to a 2p thickness) 40g Salted butter (cubed) 50 - 100ml Olive oil 50g Parmesan (finely grated) A handful of thyme 2 garlic cloves (diced) Salt and pepper (desired amount) Method: 1. In a frying pan on a medium-low heat melt a couple of cubes of butter with a touch of oil. 2. Then place one layer of potato slices in an overlapping pattern to cover the entire bottom on the pan, sprinkle your thyme and garlic throughout. 3. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with a small handful of Parmesan, then add a couple cubes of butter. 4. Add another layer of potatoes and repeat this process until you have used up all the potatoes. 5. Cut a round piece of baking paper and place it directly on top of the potatoes. 6. Use a small plate or anything that will fit (but not melt) on top of the spuds to press them down 7. Leave to cook on low for 30 minutes. 8. In that time preheat the oven to 180°C and after 30 mins place them in the oven for a further 10 minutes (if you don’t have an oven continue to cook them on the stove for another 15 mins) 9. Remove the plate & baking paper carefully when you see your potatoes starting to golden. 10. Place a large plate, board or anything that will fit on top of the pan and flip out your potatoes.
