Did you know you can easily propagate roses? #RosePropagation #PropagateRoses #FreePlants #plantpropagation #gardening

Pothos are vining plants, which means over time they grow long, spaced out, and can look thin or bald at the top. If you want that full, compact look: ✂️ Prune vines above a node 💧 Water propagate the cuttings 🪴 Plant them back into the same pot 🔁 Repeat as the vines start getting long Pruning redirects growth and creates new points lower on the plant — that’s how you build fullness. Save this so you know how to fix a leggy pothos when it starts happening

Lavender cuttings are incredibly easy to propagate in spring, and they typically root within just 2–4 weeks. Once rooted, I like to grow them on in pots for a few more weeks-or even months-before transplanting them into their own containers. All of our lavender has been grown from cuttings, and it didn’t take long at all for the hedges to mature and look beautiful. Propagation has been my passion for over 40 years, and I’ve created hundreds of lavender plants. I know many of you have successfully propagated lavender after watching my tutorials, and that truly makes me happy-I’m sure you felt a real sense of achievement. I hope more people discover the joy of propagation, and that my videos continue to be helpful along the way. Remember, propagation doesn’t just save money-it can give you purpose, a deep sense of achievement, and even transform your life. #lavender #gardening #propagation #moneysavingtips

Like magic ✨ a whole new plant! 🪴 The clip showing the baby plants forming took a little less than 5 months. The last video is what those same propagations look like about a year and a half later. All from a few leaves laid on soil. 🌱 I’ve been propagating my plants for years and it still amazes me how something so small can turn into a whole new plant with a little patience. Using a good fertilizer is also a huge help in growing plants healthy and big. BASIL IS THE EASIEST PLANT TO PROPAGATE & MULTIPLY FOR FREE! All you need are cuttings from a basil plant and a glass of water! You can try this with grocery store basil too! HERE’S HOW TO PROPAGATE BASIL: 👇 🌱1. Take cuttings of healthy, non-flowering basil stems. Cut a 4 to 6 inch long stem, leaving small baby leaves intact on the mother plant to continue growing. 🌱2. Strip off the leaves from the bottom 2 to 3 inches of the stem. 🌱3. Place it in a glass of water making sure that no leaves are submerged under water. 🌱4. Change the water every 2 days. 🌱5. Roots should start developing in 7 to 10 days. Once roots are about an inch or two long, transplant into a well draining pot or container that’s filled with rich, fluffy, organic soil. You can also transplant into the garden after your last frost date has passed. Watch your basil cuttings grow and enjoy the harvests! My ficus had no leaves at the bottom. So I decided to chop it. I cut both stems to encourage new growth and make it fuller. I placed the cutting in water to propagate. Meanwhile, the stems left in soil also started pushing new growth 👀 After some time, the cuttings grew roots! So I planted them all back into the pot to create a fuller, bushier plant 🌱 Who else loves a full, bushy plant? 🙋♀️ . . . #cycleofplant #ficus #ficuspropogation #jungleofthehouse #bushierplant

Save your basil plant 🌱 and avoid the famous basil trauma 💚 Here is how to keep your Basil alive and even propagate it to have new free plants 🌿 Many people buy a beautiful basil plant from the supermarket, only to see it decline and die after a few days. In most cases, the problem is not your care. Supermarket basil plants are usually overcrowded and need more space to grow properly. Here is how to keep your basil healthy and even multiply it to create new plants. Divide the plant Gently remove the basil from the pot and divide it into four or five smaller groups of plants. Replant each group into individual pots with fresh soil. This gives the roots more space and nutrients, allowing the plant to grow stronger and healthier. Propagate basil Cut a healthy basil stem just above a node. Remove the lower leaves and place the stem in a glass of water. After about 10 to 15 days, new roots will start to develop. Once roots appear, you can plant it in soil and create a new basil plant. Change the water every two days for best results. Basil plant care Place your basil near a sunny window with plenty of light. Basil loves warmth, so only move it outside when night temperatures stay above 10°C. With regular watering, warmth, and sunlight, your basil will grow strong and productive. Learning how to harvest basil correctly is also important to keep the plant producing new leaves and becoming bushier. There are many beautiful basil varieties to grow, and you can propagate all of them using the same simple technique. Green Love to you
