Tried this high-protein chocolate lava brownie from @ketosnackz 🍫 I love so many of his recipes, so I saved this one and finally made it. Here’s what’s in it: • 1 large egg • 1/3 cup cottage cheese • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder • 2–3 tbsp sweetener (he used allulose) • 1 tbsp sugar-free chocolate chips How to make it: 1. Blend everything except the chocolate chips 2. Pour into a greased dish and add the chips in the middle 3. Bake at 350°F for 20–30 minutes Estimated macros (whole recipe): About 200–230 calories 20–24g protein 10–14g carbs 8–11g fat My honest review: I’d give it a 6/10. If you’ve got a sweet tooth but need something that’s actually gonna hold you over for breakfast that isn’t eggs, this 5 ingredient chocolate protein brownie batter needs to be in your rotation ASAP! Here’s how you make it 👇🏼 ½ cup low fat cottage cheese 1 scoop chocolate protein powder 1 tablespoon cocoa powder 1 tablespoon coconut sugar 1 tablespoon oat flour Blend the cottage cheese. Add the cottage cheese to a food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy. This step helps create the perfect brownie batter texture without any lumps. Add the remaining ingredients. Once the cottage cheese is smooth, add the dry ingredients, protein powder, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and oat flour, directly into the food processor. Alternatively you can add everything to a large mixing bowl and mix by hand if you prefer. Blend until combined. Blend again until everything is fully incorporated and the mixture forms a thick, brownie batter-like consistency. Scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed to ensure an even mix.
