That feeling when… Everything you need to go right, goes right. 😮‍💨 Swapped out one of the old 480 panels and was worried the phases weren’t going to be long enough for my lugs, but luckily there was just enough play to pull up some in. And safely was able to sawzall down the rigid stub coming through the floor to keep our breaker height to code so 🤙🏼🤙🏼. Just used a 1” emt to roll around with the wires so I didn’t nick anything. Tried sliding the 2.5” EMT in but conductors weren’t letting me slide it over them. (A couple more tricks right there, fyi). These are only 350 copper but short stubs made me sweat today. Also, we temped up our SER cable for refeeding a transformer next week. Thank goodness for good help. My cw is kicking some ass with knowledge and what a relief to be able to rely on someone so young and new to have common sense. Panel swap week has been one surprise after another (no surprise there 😂). Luckily getting a new @klein_tools emt cutter took away having to take down these conduits to cut down since all my new panels are so much bigger than the ones being replaced.
