Fastest job I've done so far. If only... I had to figure out a way of mounting the aluminum cupboards from the customers old canopy to the new one. Then mount all supplied controllers, cabling, fuses etc. I also added a inline PV fuse, roof flush mount grommet for the solar, "dead man's switch" lights for the battery area, fitted the spotlights with a new harness I made, switch location chosen by customer and then I fitted a 6 way fuse block with a common negative rail for easy addition of new loads and added a 4 in 1 USB charge socket for powering devices. Sometimes I come across fascinating problems. It is important to remove any bridges/busbars that join individual circuits which have isolated/dedicated loads. If your compressor shorts, and blows all the fuses if they're all smallbor melts the cable because you've accidentally joined multiple fused circuits of higher amperage, its usually user error and not a design flaw. Seldom is there a need for bridging power sources in Overland automotive connections. Always be careful, always do stuff methodically and when in doubt reach out to an expert (and I don't mean me) This was one lucky 4x4 owner.
