You CANNOT hesitate! This is the snake that I have been after for a long time! The Burmese python… one of the most destructive and invasive species we have here in the US. They can EAT alligators down in the Everglades! This is just one of the many exciting catches we’ve had down here at the @fieldandstream Fish Camp this past week. Stay tuned for more clips here and my full YouTube video from this week coming out soon! Big thanks to @sportsmans_warehouse for helping us gear up all week and shoutout to @allgoodsadventures @pythoncowboy for putting us on some big snakes! • • • #hunting #florida #python #gopro #burmesepython

Today was a blast! Can’t wait to be in the Everglades catching wild pythons that will bite your face off🤣🐍

One of the craziest things you can hike up in the Florida Everglades are these mega large Burmese Pythons. This vegetation was so dense that I had no idea the snake was there until I was standing directly in front of her! When a necropsy was performed on this non-native giant, we found deer hooves inside of her. She was eating our native white tailed deer, and turning that energy into more baby pythons. These big reproductive females are always the top priority for removal in the Everglades

OH MY just caught a monster 16 foot python in the Everglades... they are invasive but SO COOL

FULL HISTORY CHANNEL EPISODE ON YOUTUBE! In this powerful episode of The Green Way Outdoors, we travel deep into the Florida Everglades to confront one of the most serious wildlife invasions in North America. Burmese pythons now dominate large portions of South Florida’s wetlands, and research has documented dramatic declines in native mammal populations in heavily infested areas. Raccoons, opossums, and bobcats have dropped sharply in some regions, reshaping the food web of one of America’s most iconic ecosystems. While pythons entered the United States through the exotic pet trade, many biologists believe the true turning point came after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, when storm damage destroyed breeding facilities in South Florida and large numbers of snakes escaped. What followed was decades of unchecked reproduction in an environment with few natural predators and ideal habitat. To understand the issue firsthand, we team up with Amy The Python Huntress and Everglades expert Tom Rahill. Together, we enter the swamps by day and night, tracking one of the most elusive predators on the continent. In the vast sea of sawgrass and cypress, finding a python becomes a test of patience, endurance, and instinct. #pythonhunting #thegreenwayoutdoors #floridaeverglades #hunting #burmese

The most dangerous hike I’ve ever been on! We went deep into the everglades this past week with @fieldandstream chasing exotic species in Florida at the Field & Stream fish camp!
