🚨 A concentração de diversos poluentes atmosféricos no ar respirado em todo o Brasil ultrapassa frequentemente o limite máximo admitido pela Organização Mundial da Saúde, aponta o Relatório Anual de Acompanhamento da Qualidade do Ar 2025, divulgado pelo @mmeioambiente. Na análise da ultrapassagem dos padrões de qualidade do ar, as únicas substâncias que se mantiveram nos limites admissíveis da tabela de transição do Conama, com poucas ultrapassagens, foram o monóxido de carbono (CO) e o dióxido de Nitrogênio (NO₂). As duas substâncias registraram ultrapassagens pontuais no Brasil, como no estado do Maranhão, onde houve ultrapassagem no limite de CO em 18% dos dias registrados pela estação Santa Bárbara. An air purifier matters in daily life because the air we breathe indoors is often more polluted than it appears. Since people spend most of their day indoors, improving indoor air quality has a direct impact on long-term health. The science behind an air purifier is based on controlled airflow and filtration. A fan pulls polluted air into the machine and forces it through multiple layers of filters. The most important layer is the HEPA filter, which is designed to trap extremely small particles, even those much thinner than a human hair. These include fine dust (PM2.5), smoke particles, and allergens. As air passes through the dense mesh of the filter, pollutants collide with the fibers and get stuck, while clean air passes through.
