My process is kinda all over the place so it’s hard to break it down into concrete steps 😭 tldr during rendering, I like to reshape the hair, define hair chunks/strands, and add in more colors! - subtle cyan filter: darker color layer mode, lower opacity - posterization +9: normal layer mode, 50% opacity - highlights: add (glow), lower opacity - finishing touches: rake brush + pencil texture blue outlines I’ll post the rendering timelapse for the whole thing soon since I cut out anything non-hair related lmao 🫶

In digital, it is always hard to recreate that kind of surface. So we modified the Rake brush with a custom alpha to achieve a similar aesthetic. That’s all, it’s easy.
