Today I had the opportunity to sub as a clinical RDH instructor, and it was such a nostalgic and inspiring experience! ✨ Guiding and helping the students brought back so many memories of my own time in school, and getting tips from the other instructors was invaluable. Seeing things from an instructor’s perspective was such a unique shift—I found myself loving every moment of teaching, mentoring, and watching the students grow. It reminded me how much I love this field and how rewarding it is to share knowledge with the next generation. Disclaimer: This is my personal dental chart. I’ve been lucky & unlucky enough to experience a multitude of dental softwares throughout my dental hygiene career. Some were very easy to pickup while others were an absolute nightmare. The type of dental software made available to you does make a huge difference in your work flow especially for perio charting. Dentrix is so simple to operate in all aspects though. If you had no idea what you were doing you could definitely click around & figure it out in a day. I’ve had other programs where it took me a week to aclimate. When I see new patients I actually get excited to operate through Dentrix when completing the patients dental chart & perio chart.
