Calling yourself a React developer without JavaScript is like building UI on borrowed confidence 🙈🙈 You can say you know React. But if JavaScript still confuses you, React will always feel fragile. Every hook, every render, every bug eventually points back to JavaScript.React is not a shortcut. It is a layer built on understanding. Frameworks change. Syntax evolves.Foundations stay❤️. A real React developer is not the one who knows the most APIs,but the one who understands what the code is actually doing.🥲✅ Build depth first. 🤯🔥React just got hit with one of the biggest security issues we’ve seen in a long time. A critical bug was found in React Server Components, and it allowed attackers to run their own code on your server without any login or session. Yes, literally Remote Code Execution (RCE). The issue was inside React’s Flight Protocol. React was treating incoming data as “safe,” but hackers could send the same request through curl, Postman, or any script, inject malicious payloads, and React would deserialize it and execute it on the server. Once someone can run code on your server, it’s game over. People have already reported attackers using this to: - run crypto miners - install backdoors - drop malware - or completely take over the machine And the scary part is… This affected millions of servers running specific React 19 versions. All an attacker needed was one bad request to an endpoint that uses React Server Components. React has already released patches. If you’re using any of the vulnerable versions, update to the latest patched version right now to stay safe. Stay safe, update your dependencies, and share this reel to warn your dev friends. #react #hack #webdevelopment
