A Cyber Security Awareness Session was held at RCUES, OU on 22.02.2026 for Yuva Aapda Mitra NCC Volunteers. Under the Yuva Aapda Mitra Scheme (YAMS), an initiative of National Disaster Management Authority in collaboration with National Cadet Corps, cadets are trained in disaster preparedness, rescue, and emergency response. A large-scale Cybersecurity Awareness Program was jointly organized by C-DAC Hyderabad and ISEA on 07 February 2026 at Sholka Function Hall, Kongara Kalan, Adibatla, to promote the safe and responsible use of digital technologies. The program was graced by Chief Guest Sh. VC Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, in the presence of Sh. Tafseer Iqubal, IPS, ACP; Sh. Arvind Babu, DCP – Cyber Crime; and Sh. Rajesh B, IPS, DCP – RGIA PS, along with senior officials from Cyberabad Police. Approximately 600 participants, including IT/ITES professionals, students, general users, and children, attended the program under the theme: “Safe Digital Habits for 600+ Citizens — From Students to IT Professionals.” The sessions focused on cybersecurity best practices, digital safety measures, and awareness of emerging cyber threats, aligned with national cybersecurity objectives. The program featured expert talks, real-world case studies of cyber fraud, interactive discussions, and a Cyber Security Pledge, where participants committed to adopting safer digital behaviors. Senior Cyberabad Police officials also interacted with attendees and media representatives, reinforcing the importance of collective vigilance in preventing cybercrime.
