This is a simple but effective trick at works so well. These hydrangeas were over a week old, and the popped back up good as new. The alum powder is optional but I always use it for my cut hydrangeas. Alum is a pickling spice and you can buy it in the spice section of your grocery store. You can use this method to keep your cut hydrangeas looking great for a long time.
