💥Sissy that Strut: Tutorial Time🛼 Giving a little recap in class after we worked on the technique to get to this fun roller dance move and these are some of my personal tips that worked for me: 🛼 Get comfortable with the cross step-out IN PLACE before even starting the strut walk- then start challenging yourself to do cross step continuously without placing your foot out for stability 🛼 Place the outside edge of your skate right after the cross step as opposed to placing your 4 wheels down so you can have more agility and momentum 🛼 Shoulders and hip positioning can make or break it- use it to your advantage while counterbalancing the weight of your feet- active your « Supermodel » mode and strut that runway-in place obviously 😎 ❌ Avoid interlocking your feet by keeping your initial V-foot position and bend your knees to avoid rolling backwards Save this for later and don’t forget to sissy that strut💥 📽️ @assisr.skates #BeginnersGuide #StrutWalk #montreal #RollerDance #Tutorial
