We are now offering free school visits here on the farm 🥛 Children can tour the farm with John, see the cows and calves, watch the milking in action, learn more about where milk comes from, and finish with a little milkshake from the vending machine. This week we welcomed a lovely group of local home educated children, and John even gave a live demonstration of the cow brush 😅 It was so nice to hear the children’s questions and see their curiosity and interest in the farm and animals. New pies just landed in Salisbury… and obviously I had to investigate 🥧🕵️‍♂️ I was invited down to try the new @piecarambauk pies @bellcrownsalisbury and as someone who is normally indifferent about pies, these were bloody tasty! The pub itself is cosy and warm, open fire, darts board, sports on the TVs… one of those places you accidentally stay way longer than planned. We tried the Holy Cow and the Hen Party and WOW. Properly filled, tonnes of flavour. The pastry was spot on and the gravy… there was so much 😍 If you love a good pie, these are definitely worth trying.
