🚀 Dev Log - [Island Rush] 🚀 At Feel Good Labs, we made a simple pact with ourselves last year: If we truly wanted to call ourselves an Indie Game Studio instead of a Web Development Company… We had to ship 3 games over the coming year. No excuses. Just build and release. So far we released Delivery Dude and Corporate Clash: Office Saga. While working on Corporate Clash, we also started building our first 3D game. To keep things manageable, we chose an Endless Runner — a great way to learn the 3D pipeline while keeping the scope small. That’s how Island Rush was born. Big shoutout to Sandip Nickam, who joined us as an intern and created the 3D characters and environment models. Meanwhile I got to experiment with 3D shaders for stormy ocean waves and building particle FX systems for fog and rain which was super fun. The core gameplay is done, and now we’re waiting to implement the final UI polish - Vivek has been working on.
