Sometimes its something subtle that you didn’t notice. #interviewtips #interviewing #interviewadvice

The real reason hiring managers ask: “Are you interviewing with any other companies right now?” They’re not just being polite — they’re trying to gauge your market value and urgency. Here’s exactly how to answer it: ✅ “Yes, I’m in conversations with a few companies for similar roles — I’m really focused on finding the right long-term fit.” This shows confidence without sounding desperate. If you’re preparing for interviews, save this — it might just land you the offer. #interviewtips #jobinterview #careeradvice #interviewquestions #jobtips

This question sounds so simple, but isn’t asked enough. It can be top of mind for candidates, but at the same time, many looking for jobs don’t want to be judged for the questions they ask. And many interviewers don’t realize how important (and rare) it is to bring this up proactively. #hiring #jobsearch #interviewquestions #manager #career

Ask this question in your job interview #jobinterview #careeradvice #recruitment Free CV Template in my bio and loads of resources to help in your job search and interviews.

It seems simple, but you would be AMAZED at the number of candidates I interview who miss small details (like showing up for an interview at 10am CST vs 10am EST) or don’t read emails that clearly outline instructions. We notice little things like this and these behaviors go a long way!!! Take note and please keep this in mind the next time you’re interviewing 💡 #interviewtips #jobseekers #recruiting #resumetips #hiring

Here are 4 hacks to nail your next job interview ⬇️ 1️⃣ Don’t disqualify yourself Most interviewers decide how they feel about you within the first 3 minutes! • Don’t be late. • Dress as well as (or slightly better than) the interviewer. • Know their name(s) and say them correctly. • Walk in prepared and be respectful. It sounds basic… but basic mistakes can cost you the job offer. 2️⃣ Master the two questions that are 80% of the interview ✔️ Why should we hire you? ✔️ Why do you want to work here? 👉 For “why should we hire you?” Pick 3–5 traits you want them to remember. For example, are you a problem-solver, a leader, resilient or analytical. Then prepare 1–2 stories that prove each trait. Don't just tell! Show them your skills through your experience and achievements. When questions come up, guide your answers back to these stories. 👉 For “why do you want to work here?” Do your research. Be specific about the company, the team and the role. People are drawn to people who genuinely want to be there. 3️⃣ Remember: you’re talking to a human, not a robot • Research the interviewer. • Know their background and their role in the company. • Ask thoughtful questions about their experience. • Get them talking about themselves! People like people who show interest in them. 4️⃣ Your body language speaks louder than your words • Sit up straight. • Lean in slightly. • Make eye contact. • Smile 😁 Confidence and warmth go further than “perfect” answers ever will. ✨ You’ve already done the hardest part — getting the interview. Now treat it like you’re at the goal line. Prepare properly and give yourself the best shot at scoring. You've got this! 👏 🤷 What’s the best interview tip you’ve ever received? Most candidates speak in generalities during interviews. The best candidates give proof. #careercoach #interviewtips #interviewprep #interview #jobinterview

When they ask you “Why are you leaving your current job?” in an interview #jobinterviewtips #jobinterview #jobsearching #careeradvice

If you’ve got an interview coming up, do this properly 👇 1️⃣ Know the job description Read it again. Then again. What actually matters in the role? Focus your answers around the key skills and responsibilities they care about most. 2️⃣ Know your CV You should be able to talk through it confidently. Your answers in the interview must align with what you’ve already written. 3️⃣ Research the company What do they do? Who are their customers? Competitors? Business goals? Check their website, LinkedIn and recent news. Look at Glassdoor, but take it with a pinch of salt. 4️⃣ Research your interviewer Usually your potential boss. First-time manager? Long career path? Someone you could learn from? Use this insight to shape your questions. 5️⃣ Research the people Do employees stay? Get promoted? Or leave quickly? That tells you more than reviews ever will. 6️⃣ Practice common interview questions Think through your answers in advance so you don’t walk away wishing you’d said something different. 7️⃣ Prepare smart questions Skip pay and benefits for now. Use your questions to decide if you actually want the job. I share practical job search advice like this in my newsletter. Comment NEWSLETTER and I’ll send you the link.

Make sure to include this in your interview process no matter what job you’re interviewing for! The last thing you want is to join a company only to realize six weeks in that you’ve made a mistake. Here are the most essential questions that you need to ask in order to avoid this. #interviewtips
