I've eaten the chocolate bars from @cocoandbean over the years as they popped up locally for special occasions from time to time etc but this was my first time ever venturing into their Bondi shop and it was for their weekend bake sale scrolls! My oh my.... 🤤 Awesome. Truly. Great price point. Great size. Really tasty dough and frosting. I smashed more than I ought to (all four) before trying the cookies as well! We went after 12pm and most scrolls were already sold out, with just some flavours remaining! We were able to get their original as well as a savoury ham & cheese scroll 🥹 they also have other sweet options too which looked like they’d be right up a sweet tooth’s alley! Episode 7 with Apple Pie Scrolls 🍎 Soft, fluffy scrolls filled with spiced apple. Simple, cosy and perfect for a weekend bake or lunchbox treat. Apple Pie Scrolls Ingredients: • 2-3 apples, chopped and steamed until soft • 2 tbsp brown sugar • 1 tsp cinnamon • Optional: drizzle of vanilla Method: Mix the steamed apples with brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Spread evenly over rolled dough. Slice into strips. Roll up tightly into scrolls. Place onto a baking tray, cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 180°C for 20–25 minutes until golden and fluffy.
