It’s not magic it’s just a seamless pattern. To create it I’ll be using @arrtxart acrylic marker set. Here’s how: Step 1 Take 4 pieces of paper in the same size and arrange them into a square. To avoid confusion, number them 1-4. Start drawing in the center area only, leave the outer edges blank and don’t cross the borders. Step 2 Swap the sheets: switch 1 with 2, and 3 with 4. You’ll reveal a new empty center space. Keep drawing there. Step 3 Final switch: swap 2 with 4, and 3 with 1. Now fill in the remaining center gaps and complete your design. And just like that you’ve made a seamless pattern by hand. Scan it, repeat it digitally, turn it into wrapping paper, fabric, or prints. #arrtxacrylicmarkers #arrtxmarkers #arrtx90b

How to create a ✨seamless pattern✨ by hand? Here’s a fun and simple way to make your own seamless pattern using just paper and markers. I’m using Kaala B series by @ohuhuart 1. Grab 4 pieces of paper, all the same size. 2. Align them together to form a perfect square. 3. Start drawing your design in the center, think leaves, flowers, doodles, anything you like! 4. Move the two left pieces to the right, keeping the edges aligned, and continue drawing in the new center. 5. Now shift the top two pieces down and add more details to the center once again. 6. Finally, move the two right pieces to the left and complete your central design with final touches. 7. Voila! You’ve just created a seamless pattern, ready to scan, repeat, and turn into wrapping paper, fabric, or prints! I have been really enjoying making these seamless patterns specially because you guys have been enjoying them so much as well. I had no idea that creating patterns would introduce me to so many of you in such a short amount of time. I have been illustrating and designing products for my small shop since almost 5 years. Other than creating patterns, I do love doodling, illustrating landscapes or drawing people as well, although I haven’t drawn anything other than patterns in the last 2 months because I needed some patterns for the new products as soon as possible. Now that I think I have enough patterns for now, I am looking forward to getting back to doodling, sketching along with creating patterns in the next few weeks🎨💛

I love using the diamond method to create repeat patterns on procreate, I feel like it makes things even more seamless! I do this process differently, most tutorials I’ve seen involve drawing a diamond first, this is just what works for me! Hopefully it wasn’t too complicated to understand. Scallop pattern tutorial🪭 • Open a 12 x 12 inch canvas on procreate • Add the template using add photo and click “Fit to canvas”. • Create a new layer above the template layer and draw your elements. • Turn off the template layer • On the design layer, mark the four corner using any brush. Duplicate this layer 4 times. • Move each layer to their respective quadrant and turn on the original. • Voila! Your scallop pattern is ready to be repeated seamlessly.
