Scallop pattern tutorial🪭 • Open a 12 x 12 inch canvas on procreate • Add the template using add photo and click “Fit to canvas”. • Create a new layer above the template layer and draw your elements. • Turn off the template layer • On the design layer, mark the four corner using any brush. Duplicate this layer 4 times. • Move each layer to their respective quadrant and turn on the original. • Voila! Your scallop pattern is ready to be repeated seamlessly. I have been really enjoying making these seamless patterns specially because you guys have been enjoying them so much as well. I had no idea that creating patterns would introduce me to so many of you in such a short amount of time. I have been illustrating and designing products for my small shop since almost 5 years. Other than creating patterns, I do love doodling, illustrating landscapes or drawing people as well, although I haven’t drawn anything other than patterns in the last 2 months because I needed some patterns for the new products as soon as possible. Now that I think I have enough patterns for now, I am looking forward to getting back to doodling, sketching along with creating patterns in the next few weeks🎨💛

I love using the diamond method to create repeat patterns on procreate, I feel like it makes things even more seamless! I do this process differently, most tutorials I’ve seen involve drawing a diamond first, this is just what works for me! Hopefully it wasn’t too complicated to understand.
