Hey guys! Here’s the tutorial on how I hide the tracks when I do a Fulani sew-in. More details below ⬇️ Step 1:Part your client’s hair into 2 sections, just like a regular Fulani style. Step 2: Braid your foundation, and don’t forget the 2 braids around your foundation! They are key to hiding the tracks. Step 3: Sew the bundles in, all the way to the top. Step 4:When you get to the same level as I am in the video, sew a track in the opposite direction. Make sure it’s on the second braid, not the first. Step 5:Once you’re done with Step 4, continue sewing the tracks to the top. Step 6: The last step is to sew a track over the one going in the opposite direction. You’ll sew this new track on the first braid, but still over the other track. It might be a little tricky, but just take your time and remember, you can always undo and start over! I use to dread sewins, I didn’t understand the technique behind them and would often have my clients leave with helmets 🥲 It wasn’t until I learned this method that everything clicked! You don’t sew through the wefts the entire install, I mostly do when I’m flipping the tracks or only starting a new one. Always use a net, not only for us to have less tension on our heads, but it helps flip the tracks seamlessly.
