Did you watch/like Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure⁉️Follow me for more childhood nostalgia💙 I feel like this film has potential for a lot more. I didn’t like that it was mostly centered around Sharpay’s dog. Like I think they could’ve did a lot of unique things with her. Three main points, I think should’ve been highlighted were 1. Sharpay Evan’s amazing huge personality & love for fashion/musical theater 2. Sharpay’s dynamic with Ryan completely changing, with her used to thinking that it would be him in her shadows 3. Sharpay’s growth as a human being to become more selfless, kind, and gracious With Sharpay’s personality, she is very BIG in stuff. And I think that is something that the High School Musical trilogy highlighted for us. We got to watch and enjoy her performances. But in the HSM universe, it was honestly frowned upon how she didn’t exactly understand the true depth of things, and only cared about the performance aspect. - I think Sharpay should be allowed to see that there is nothing wrong with her big personality, and wanting to find the fun in musical theater. And it’d be nice to see that highlighted in the film Sharpay also could be going through an inferiority complex. She has lived her life thinking she was the best and meant for greatness, but this movie could’ve dove deeper in how her perception isn’t exactly reality. Where she once belittled Ryan, he is now closer to living his dreams than she is. And we honestly should’ve seen her apology to him. That’s her brother and ultimately she loves him, and doesn’t want to mistreat him anymore. Although we are aware of her big theater dreams, being a nasty and vindictive person is not the way to get there. I think there could’ve been a moment or two where we saw her do those things, but ultimately see that that’s not the person she wants to be.
