Here’s a quick video on what making an EZScreen Stencil looks like! The entire process takes about 20 minutes, and isn’t too labor-intensive! as someone that used to use iron on vinyl for things, my favorite part about this is that the stencil is reusable, and I don’t have to sit and weed really complicated designs (if you know you know 😂). Tips for screen printing 👇🏼 make sure to save for later! . ➡️ PREP Prep your shirt by putting a tacky mat inside to hold your fabric in place and protect from bleed through. You can also use a lint roller to remove fuzzies (optional). . ➡️ STENCIL I make my reusable silkscreen stencils using the Ikonart Custom Stencil Kit and our purple Ikonart Textile Film which was designed specifically for fabric. It is stickier and slightly more sturdy than our blue film. . ➡️ INK Make sure to use an ink meant for fabric. I use Speedball Screen Printing Fabric Inks. . ➡️ LIFT & LOOK Apply your ink and use the lift and look method when you remove the stencil. Slowly lift your stencil and if any spots need more ink you can put the stencil back down (before you completely remove it) and add more ink. . ➡️ HEAT SET After the ink is completely dry you can heat set it with an iron or heat press to make it more durable in the wash. . That’s it!!
