This is Misko the Silver Fox. He arrived about a month ago. Due to no fault at his own he ended up with us after someone tried to have him as a pet. Unfortunately Misko was at the time way to tame to ever be released in the wild and his background had too many unknowns for that as well, so lucky for us our friends at aspenvalleywildlifesanctuary agreed to accept him as part of their permanent resident group. Although all of us will miss this little munchkin and his antics very much he is heading for the best possible place he can be right now under this special set of circumstances. A huge thank you to Jeremy from Pilots4Paws for agreeing to fly him up. This means a much shorter travel time and a lot less stress for Misko. Thank you to our neighbour for allowing use of his airstrip for landing and take off. Thank you to Dr. Lee from Scott Veterinary Clinic who took care of his vaccines and health certificate. And of course to Aspen Valley for agreeing to take him on. We wish Miso the most amazing life he can possibly have, but he will be so very much missed around here.
