MORE INFORMATION… Computer engineering — you can 100% go into a software role after studying this! Computer engineers share many core classes with CS students. The difference lies in the electrical engineering classes you take that give you a different skill set than computer science majors. CE majors are generally known for having a better grasp of the hardware and working with low level software. C is my favourite language just because I can see everything that is happening — nothing is hidden behind obscure properties and functions. That type of control is really important when you’re working with bitmaps and exact memory manipulation. We have less experience with web dev and leetcode, so we tend to “lose” against computer science students in that regard. My experiences in both CS and CE courses can be summed up by the following: If CS is equivalent to being taught how to swim, CE is closer to getting pushed into the pool and swimming because otherwise you’ll drown. Do with that information what you will 🤷♀️ Follow @jocelyn_journals for more! #computerscience #computerengineering #university #technology

AI/ML Engineering vs Computer Science Engineering — What’s the Difference? 💻 Both are top choices for tech-savvy students, but they lead to very different futures 👇 🔹 AI/ML Engineering: Focuses on teaching machines to think and learn. You’ll dive deep into data science, neural networks, deep learning, and model training. 👉 Ideal if you’re excited about automation, robotics, and building smart applications. 🔹 Computer Science Engineering (CSE): Covers a broader tech base — programming, OS, databases, networking, and algorithms. You build the systems, apps, and platforms others work on. 👉 Great if you love solving core computing problems and building digital tools. 🎯 In short: CSE is the foundation of tech. AI/ML is the specialized future of intelligent tech. 💬 Which one are YOU choosing — and why? #AIvsCS #EngineeringCareers #TechFuture #AIEngineering #CSElife #CareerGuidance #EngineeringExplained

Confused between BS AI, BS CS, BS IT, or BS Software Engineering? Here’s the truth: most of these programs are just different paths under the same umbrella of Computer Science. Core courses are almost identical, and the real difference comes from the electives you choose based on your interests, AI, Data Science, or anything else. So pick any program with confidence. You can always specialize later. #ComputerScience #AI #DataScience #CareerAdvice #CSStudents

Software engineering in 2026 explained in 60 seconds… I broke into big tech by doing everything in this roadmap and more for 223 days (all while documenting it). Since then I got the return offer at Amazon, then turned it down to build my own VC backed startup. So safe to say it works. Here’s everything I would if I had to restart so you can copy me. #coding #codingforbeginners #learntocode #computerscience #softwareengineer

CS degrees are so cooked by AI right now 😂🔥 Not because “AI will take your job”… but because uni syllabuses are still teaching bubble sort while the real world is building entire SaaS apps with AI in a weekend. We’re in a timeline where students are learning Java applets but companies want devs who can ship FAST, automate workflows, use AI tools, build agents, deploy, troubleshoot, and think like problem-solvers — not textbook robots. AI didn’t kill the CS degree… outdated curriculums did. The devs who win now aren’t the ones memorising algorithms at 2AM… it’s the ones who can use AI as a superpower to build things, iterate fast, learn in public, and stay relevant. The game changed. Adapt or get left behind. #ai #fypppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp #techtok #tech #computerscience
