Prune and Propagate with me on this sunny Saturday! This Hydrangea macrophylla is old and in a sheltered spot and needs a bit of a refurb (PS I haven’t pruned my hydrangeas yet). Decided to cut out a handful of the older, more gnarly branches to let some air in and lighten it up a bit. From those big branches I cut myself some healthy twiglets with good buds that I’m hoping will take and propagate into new hydrangeas (basically I’m making clones). Do you do this?? . . .
