In Memory Of Who We Once Were, an EP produced by @dizzy_jay_music, this is 'Motherland' one of the pieces from this sonic collage

It was an honour and so very fortunate to be commissioned by @philipglass and @prsformusic to create this piece to celebrate his prolific career and to mark his 85th birthday. To create this sonic collage of his work I transposed and scored 85 fragments of his music taken from every year of his working life up to that point, then with a 360° mic I recorded my wonderful wife @deptford360 moving around a church in Blackheath playing them. Go and take a listen to ‘Glass Fragments 85’ on Bandcamp or streaming platforms, I hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it. Dan x
