Colour theory made simple! Let's talk colour groups first. There can be other colour groups too but these are what were mentioned in my lecture Complimentary: opposites Triadic: 3 colours equally distanced Tetradic: 4 colours equally distanced (this can also be known as the square group) Split complimentary: 1 main colour, 2 that are either side of the complimentary Analogue: 3 colours next to each other, adjacent (Monochramtic is 1 single colour)

A split primary palette is when you have 2 of each primary colour: a cool yellow, red and blue. And a warm yellow, red and blue 🌈 it allows you to mix up a wide variety of bright colours as well as neutrals. #colormixing #colortheory #colorwheel #splitprimarypalette #primarycolors

Start with a base hue, add 137.5 to get the next color, then add 137.5 again for the third.
