My favorite place I've visited so far this month is definitely this beauty! 📍Blackwater Falls in Davis, West Virginia. Winter is showing off and giving us the best views lately. This frozen waterfall at Blackwater Falls State Park has been absolutely spectacular to visit. The falls are so frozen and full of ice but you can still hear the water running. It's so pleasing and so relaxing. A must see if you're ever in the area. This place I went to is the overlook area of Blackwater Falls and is so much more accessible if you don't want to walk the boardwalk entrance down to the falls and instead want to enjoy a short walk to see it from above. Short walks to a beautiful view are my favorite in the winter so my toddler stays warm and we still get to explore. If you get to visit be sure to share your trip or photos with me! They're always so gorgeous and I know everyone else will enjoy them too. My daughter is obsessed with waterfalls, and with this hike being under 2 miles (1.6 to be exact), it’s very doable for beginners and one of our favorite hikes for kids in Virginia.
