FRESH TOFU SPRING ROLLS 🥒🥡 Lower-carb tofu spring roll recipe, no noodles! The secret is in how you ‘slice’ the tofu... Spring Roll Ingredients: * 12 rice paper wraps * 1 block extra-firm tofu * 1 bag pre-shredded cabbage * 1 carrot * Small bunch of fresh cilantro (or sub any fresh herb or spinach) * 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce * 1 tsp sesame oil How to make spring rolls: Prep fillings by shredding tofu with a large-holed cheese grater, and sauté for a few minutes on pan. I also like to soften the cabbage on a pan. My roll technique: 1. wet rice paper until slightly softened, add cabbage, tofu, carrot, and cilantro on middle-side portion of the rice paper 2. Fold right and left side over the filling, covering it entirely as much as possible. 3. Roll up as tightly as possible 4. Once spring rolls are assembled, pan fry on high heat in sesame oil until crispy on two sides. 5. Serve with peanut sauce.
