Ten Puppies. No Food. No Shelter. 🆘 This is where Sue gave birth. Chained. In the mud. No shelter. No food in sight. Her puppies couldn’t always reach her. A concerned neighbour contacted our community outreach team and asked for help. We’re not here to point fingers. But we’ve been asked to help, and we have to tell the story. Sometimes the truth is hard to see or hear. Sue is one of several mothers and their litters we’ve found in similar conditions over the past three weeks. Some of the puppies we’ve rescued have survived. But two full litters didn’t make it, despite our best efforts. Weak from hunger, exposed to the elements, with tiny bodies overwhelmed by parasites. They never had a real chance. Sue and all 10 puppies are now at the vet. But they’ll need ongoing medical care, proper food, and foster support if they’re going to recover.
