The full Power of Sets in Python #python #coding #programming Here are seven ways to use sets in Python you Should know. So let's say we have two lists of integers here, A and B. What I want to do is merge these two lists together. We can simply combine array A and array B by using the plus operator. And when we print this, we see we have a long combined list, but it still remains all duplicates in it. So to remove the duplicates we can simply transform these combined lists into a set since sets are created to remove duplicates automatically. And watch this by using the sorted function on this list we get a new list in ascending order. But this was just the basic stuff we all know. So don't be scared. The real OP stuff comes now. So if we want to combine all unique elements from the two lists, we simply can use the pipe operator in between. Or if we want to grab the intersection, we simply use the and sign. Or if we want to get the difference between the sets, we simply can subtract sets from each other. This simply removes all elements from the main set minus the subtracted set. And the last one is if we want to see the symmetric difference, we simply can use the carrot symbol as a mathematical operation. This gives us back the values that are in either button both of the lists. So let's run this, and there we go.
