Presidency University, Rajankunte, Yelahanka, Bengaluru - 64 When Education Turns Into a Business 💵 Major Concerns Raised by Students: 1.New Course Scam: University introduced a Pharma Medical Degree that's not UGC-approved, making the degree invalid and putting students' futures at risk. 2.Over-Admissions: Only 40 seats approved for certain courses, but 60 students were admitted. later, 20 students were terminated after paying their full fees. 3.Unreasonable Fee Structure:. Backlog fees: ₹1,000 per subject Attendance shortage: ₹10,000 Late payment / subject fee: ₹5,000 Non-technical degree: ₹1.4L+ per year Technical degree: ₹3L+ per year 4.New Degree Fraud / Mismanagement Students claim the administration introduced unapproved programs and failed to disclose eligibility details. 5 Toxic Behaviour by Faculty A few faculties allegedly hold personal grudges against sptudents, creating a hostile environment. 6.Student Harassment & Mishandling Some students were reportedly mishandled by security staff and certain department members, raising serious safety and ethical concerns. #presidencyuniversitybangalore #protest
