It's a government grant for working disabled and/or chronically ill people that nobody tells you about. It's there to help disabled people or those with chronic health conditions get or stay in paid work and gives you support whilst at work. I applied last summer and it's made such a difference to my working life and you guys have had LOADS of questions so I wanted to share everything I have learnt with you including the process, the equipment you can get and all about support workers. Head over to my YouTube channel for the full video! If you have any further questions please drop them in the comments and I'll do my best to answer! My lovely friend @disabilitywithbailey is currently going through the process as an employee as opposed to someone who is self employed like me so make sure to check out Bailey's page for updates & another perspective! Stop trying to force the wrong people to support your right idea. You don’t need louder cheerleaders, you need real ones. The kind that call you out and clap for you in the same breath. The kind that sit with your struggle and still push you forward. Support isn’t just hype. It’s accountability. It’s strategy. And without it… silence will eat your potential alive. Build your tribe. Protect your vision. And never beg to be understood. baseline. #EntrepreneurSupport #BuildYourTribe #EntrepreneurshipJourney #FindYourPeople #MindsetMatters #PurposeDrivenLife #SocialProofPodcast

Unpopular opinion… Support groups very quickly become victim central. They’re mostly people comparing worsening symptoms. And I get it - really. I was that person once. I found spaces that made me feel seen and validated. But also found myself feeling invalidated and ‘not sick enough’ when in those same spaces. Simply put - those communities are rarely about getting better or creating a positive outlook and life despite it. They’re about chronic illness being the centre of your life. And that, from experience, is exhausting. So I removed myself from them. Because that wasn’t the space I was going to find my future in. Be careful how you use those spaces, too. They can be the key you needed to unlock the next chapter of your life, or lock yourself into this one. ~

Support is what you feel when you’re in the middle of the storm—when no one’s watching, and things don’t look pretty. Congratulations is what you hear when the battle is already won. Remember this: the people who support you during the grind are far more valuable than the ones who only show up to clap when it’s done. Follow for more 👉 @mindset.therapy

Sometimes, the people who know you the least will actually support you the most. This happens because long-term friends or family may have a fixed perception of who you used to be, and your growth can unintentionally create friction or hidden feelings you aren’t aware of. While it’s natural to want support from those who have been there your whole life, relying solely on them can leave you feeling isolated when they don’t have your best intentions at heart. Instead of pulling back or feeling hurt because a specific person, like a sibling, isn’t showing up for you, lean into new circles where people are genuinely excited to learn who you are today. Whether it’s a niche online mom’s group or a professional community, these new connections often offer support rooted in your current values and goals. Remember, a true village is built on mindfulness and reciprocity—be knowledgeable about who is truly in your corner and make sure to support them back. Building a better version of yourself requires a circle that can handle the weight of your new trajectory. 🌱🫂 #supportsystems #villagebuilding #psychologyofgrowth #communitymatters #healthyboundaries
