Just reminiscing about my time on the #Floronicman for #swampthing . This is one of my more resolve models for a creature suit design. I was hired by @justin.raleigh and @fracturedfxinc! I always have a great time working with Justin and the work that fractured effects does is always the best. I started off with a few sketches, and then jumped right into the model. In the beginning, there was a possibility that they might 3-D print some parts of the suit so I really got to go in there and sculpt some crazy details . I do all of my 3-D work in #Zbrush. I’ve been in the program for years and it’s such an incredibly powerful tool. Can’t imagine my pipeline without it. It was a very exciting project. The suit came out beautifully. They ended up sculpting everything from scratch. Definitely wish we could’ve seen more of this character played by one of my all-time favorite actors @thekevindurand ! Swampthing really was a remarkable show. Hope we get to see something like that again in the future.
