Splicing a 1/4” tape loop with a razor blade and splicing block 〰️ This loop was slightly too long, so I had to remove around 1cm of tape. It was for playback on a tape machine in the vertical position, so in order to prevent the Auto-Stop lever from engaging I needed a specific length. This process can be very fiddly but is extremely satisfying when you get it right.
