Hey everyone, “Chemicals”, the fourth single from mine and @robert_voxx_official’s Collisions EP is out this Friday December 6th! This track means a lot to me personally, as I came up with part of the instrumental while fairly deep in alcohol addiction, and then, came back and finished it during my subsequent non-abstinence/medicine-based recovery using The Sinclair Method—aka targeted Naltrexone treatment—for alcohol use disorder (I have a whole post from back in March in my profile that goes into all of this, but feel free to DM if you want to learn more). Anyway, Rob didn’t know about any of this at the time—although I’m sure he knew something was going on—when I sent him the instrumental, yet somehow he wrote lyrics that really hit home for me and what I was going through (they were so moving in fact that I ended up going back into the track and writing a completely new breakdown and drop).
