Suicide is the biggest killer of people under 35s in Britain, with around 200 teenagers taking their own lives every year. After suffering unimaginable losses, Andy Airey, Mike Palmer, and Tim Owen found strength in one another through the suicide prevention charity @Papyrus_uk and together, went on to found @3dadswalking. What started as a £3,000 fundraising goal grew into an extraordinary £1.4 million. Along the way, they’ve connected with many affected by suicide and have become powerful advocates for improved mental health support in schools and across the curriculum. In 2022, 3 Dads Walking received a #PrideOfBritain Award in recognition of their inspiring work in pushing for change and raising awareness.
