⏱Countdown Timers⏱ When you can’t read a clock, the concept of time can be quite tricky to comprehend. For a child, a task may seemingly last forever! When I was a kid and drove anywhere with my family, I would always ask “how long til we get there?” and my dad would answer me in ‘Play Schools’. For example, “we’ll be there in 2 episodes of Play School“...which made complete sense to a 6 year old me! 😂 When asking a child to complete a task, for all they know, the end may never arrive, but give that task a time limit along with some visuals to represent the passing of time, and it might just make the task seem all that more achievable. We took your advice when making these timers, this is what you asked for: ⏰ A visual representation of time passing to accompany the digital countdown, for those who may no understand numbers counting backwards yet. So we included 2 types of visuals AND a digital timer. ⏰A range of different time increments. So we have 8 timers available: 1,2,5,10,15,20,30 & 45 minute timers. ⏰Something pleasant to signify the end of the timer (not some blaring siren that can startle and distract). Our timers have celebratory sound effects and music that’s calming and easy to listen to. But feel free to mute them if you want. We’re really happy with how they turned out. Let us know what you think?! So easy to have one of these playing on the screen. During a task maybe? Or quiet reading even? Would love to know what you plan to use them for. All available in Cub Club.🐯⏱ Obviously we’ve sped this one up to give you an example. We didn’t think that watching a timer count down for a whole minute was exactly stimulating Insta content.😂
