What is the Best Workout Split for Building Muscle Faster? Training one muscle group per day can limit how much quality volume you get across the week, which can slow muscle growth. An upper lower split spreads your training volume across multiple sessions so you can train harder, recover better and stimulate more growth. The “best” split is really the one that YOU can recover from and progress your lifts. I have to say BS words like “best” so anyone sees this 🤦

My 8 Day Training Split Day 1: Legs Day 2: Push Day 3: Pull Day 4: Sprints Day 5: Legs Day 6: Push Day 7: Pull Day 8: Sprints I do take rest days when needed. If I’m cooked on day 4 or day 8 then I’ll take it as a rest day and just do 1 sprint day or move that to day 3 or day 7. By no means is my split optimal but it works for me and I enjoy doing it. I like the daily action of training not just physically but mentally so that’s why I spread out my training that way. I’m way more productive when I workout each day and I like doing it. Been doing a Legs-push-pull split currently so I can spread out my compounds and hit everything 2x a week. A lot of people say it comes down to personal preference but I do believe that certain splits are better than others due to their ability to hit certain metrics that should be beneficial for more efficient progress — most namely frequency.

The availability for growth along with recovery is peak with this split. If there is too much cns fatigue with the first part of the split, you can switch day 2 and 3 to seperate upper days. - - @youngla - #fullsplit #viral #austinwittreich
