🎥 🌲Christmas Tree Cake Video 🌲 🎥 If you saw my “fail cake” reel earlier this week, you saw how this cake started out... If you haven’t seen it and want to watch me smash my hand in a cake, go check it out 😂 Anyway, I totally bombed a design, then smoothed the icing and created a new design on a whim. This is what I came up with. I really like it! Please excuse the terrible lighting, focus, and toilet paper on the counter in the background... Grocery shopping woes. 😬 🤷‍♀️ 😆 What do you think? Homemade Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes This is the full step-by-step tutorial so you can make them at home! Soft vanilla almond cake, fluffy marshmallow filling, and a smooth white chocolate coating. Save this to make with your people and follow along! Also, I am getting over being sick so bare with me as my voice still isn’t back to normal! This is part 1 of my Little Debbie series! Recipe below👇🏻 Vanilla Almond Snack Cake Ingredients • 2 ½ cups (315 g) all-purpose flour • 2 ½ tsp (11 g) baking powder • ½ tsp (2 g) kosher salt • ¾ cup (164 g) unsalted butter, room temp • 1 ¾ cups (339 g) granulated sugar • 4 large eggs, room temp • 1 Tbsp (12 g) pure vanilla extract • ½ tsp (3 g) almond extract • 1 cup (246 g) whole milk, room temp Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two ½ sheet pans (or jelly roll pans) with parchment and lightly grease. 2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. 3. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar 2–3 minutes until pale and fluffy. 4. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla and almond extract. 5. Alternating, add the dry ingredients and milk, beginning and ending with dry. Mix just until smooth (don’t overmix). 6. Divide batter between pans, spread into an even ½-inch layer. 7. Bake 10–15 minutes, or until set and a toothpick comes out clean. 8.
