DIY Christmas Tree Flocking! This came out better than I thought. It looks like a whole new tree and it was so easy to do. DIY tips: Spray as much water as possible so the snow will STICK! If snow is still falling off the branches, just spray more water on top and let it dry. Give it about 24 hours to dry as well. I got a 2 pound bag of the flocked snow from @amazon (linked in my storefront) The strainer is from @dollartree And the spray bottle is also from @amazon Super easy and affordable DIY project for you or your family can do together. Remember to wear a mast and goggles or glasses when Flocking. The snow is very fine and it can get messy. I did ours in our basement and then brought it upstairs when it dried. DIY Christmas Tree Snow Flocking 🌨 Flocked trees can be $800+ 🤭 So I got a jar of snow flock from Home Depot and then a regular spray bottle with water. Once the water is sprayed the snow flock becomes adhesive once dusted on top! You give one more light spray at the end and it seals in your snow flock 😇 There is no shedding or white dust flying around once it dries in the next 24-48 hours. Is it easy to flock a ten foot Christmas tree? Well, it’s not that hard really. Spray, flock, spray. Can you really flock indoors? Yes! Just skip the sifter and protect your floors and you should be good. How much flock do I need? It depends on how big your tree is and how much flock you use. I probably used 5 pounds in this tree this year. Last year I think I used 8 pounds or so. What will it look like next year? It won’t be as pretty as when it is freshly done.
