Diffraction grating cylinder. 🫙🏳️‍🌈✨. . My purpose in life is to create a prism that is not a triangular prism. . And tame? the rainbow. . It could be fun without a light source inside. Reaction with the morning sky light. However, it seems to be quite difficult to capture this moment, so the version to be sold is surely the version with the mini neon light source. . Not related at all, but I was impressed to learn that the first phrase of Daft Punk's One More Time is sampled from this song. I, too, would love to be able to sample the rainbow and cut and stretch it. . Having studied architecture, I've become good at making rainbows model-sized and increasing the model-sized spectrum - in other words, changing the scale. . I was really surprised when my Niji Crystal pavilion appeared in New York's High Line Park. My work was imitated and built as an architectural model. Someone said it was not a copycat because it was not the same size, and I laughed. I think someone will make a huge one of these too. My former profession is architectural designer and engineer, so it would be more accurate to ask me to make it. If you want to build it, please let me know. . And recently, by studying how synths and music work, I've been thinking about the rainbow's timeline, effects and mixes. . All of my works began with the CD as a reflective material. So rotation, or the movement melody of light, became an important motif. Then I wanted to make light into something like music or a musical instrument. And I hope that I can re-edit the light using musical techniques as a restarting point. .
