🔥Getting into UGA just got a little harder! Stats just dropped for the Class of 2030, and UGA saw a 8.3% increase in total applications this year, resulting in a ~29.8% acceptance rate, compared to 32.9% for the Class of 2029. The most notable difference is with the SAT/ACT averages! ⚡️Decisions will drop today - March 6 at 4pm ET. The incoming class: 80% in-state and 20% out-of-state students. UGA utilizes a waitlist, which they expect to use to admit students for both fall and spring. Keep in mind that the admit rate for OOS, while not shared, will always be lower - because they maintain an 80/20 balance. 🎓ACADEMIC PROFILE (This year vs last) *Test scores required 4.13-4.4 Core GPA (4.05-4.33) 1360-1500 Middle 50% SAT (1300-1470) 31-34 Middle 50% ACT (29-33) UGA recalculates a weighted core GPA - detailed explanation on their webpage 🌍 UGA accepted students from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and 41 countries.
