🔥Getting into UGA just got a little harder! Stats just dropped for the Class of 2030, and UGA saw a 8.3% increase in total applications this year, resulting in a ~29.8% acceptance rate, compared to 32.9% for the Class of 2029. The most notable difference is with the SAT/ACT averages! ⚡️Decisions will drop today - March 6 at 4pm ET. The incoming class: 80% in-state and 20% out-of-state students. UGA utilizes a waitlist, which they expect to use to admit students for both fall and spring. Keep in mind that the admit rate for OOS, while not shared, will always be lower - because they maintain an 80/20 balance. 🎓ACADEMIC PROFILE (This year vs last) *Test scores required 4.13-4.4 Core GPA (4.05-4.33) 1360-1500 Middle 50% SAT (1300-1470) 31-34 Middle 50% ACT (29-33) UGA recalculates a weighted core GPA - detailed explanation on their webpage 🌍 UGA accepted students from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and 41 countries. I truly love this place. It’s hard to even put into words what this experience at UGA has been like, because nothing really prepares you for how fast it becomes your life. This place has everything. Friendships that happen naturally, days that turn into nights too quickly, and moments you don’t think much of at the time but somehow end up meaning everything later on. I know one day I’ll look back at this and realize it was way more special than I understood while I was living it. I’m so grateful to be a student here, and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. ❤️🐶
