Egypt Food Series - Places I tried in Alexandria 1. Falafel and Beans - Uncle Zaghloul - It’s a popular place among locals for the Egyptian Breakfast. It was pretty crowded on a weekend morning. We took the breakfast platter worth 150 EGP and it was such a value for money. We were two people but couldn’t finish it. The highlight of platter was huge falafels and cheese oozing out of it. I have never had so good falafels. It was the best meal of my Egypt trip. I would highly recommend this place. 2. Alban Swesra - This place is quite popular and featured in many famous vlogs. So I had to try it. They serve a variety of cheeses and puddings. We tried the basic ones. It nothing fancy but tasted really good. The cheese was quite fresh and went pretty well with the breads. The pudding was good too. 3. Talaat Patiserrie - We wanted to try some local sweets and came across this one. We tried a couple of baklavas and Egyptian desserts. The taste was pretty average for me as I have had much better ones.
