📍 Wilson Arch, Moab, Utah Not all beautiful arches are inside national parks. This one is right along US-191, free and accessible to everyone. It’s a fun scramble up a steep slope to the arch, and the views from the top are amazing 💛 Wilson Arch is a geologic formation on Entrada sandstone and is named after Joe Wilson, a local pioneer who had a cabin nearby in Dry Valley. The trail is short - about half a mile. Easy to moderate difficulty. And yes that is a rope you see in the background. There was someone on top of the arch getting ready to rappel down 🙂 #hiking #hikingadventures #karentakesahike #moab #utah #utahrocks #moab #utahisbeautiful #utahunique #utahgram #utahphotography #utahphotographer #landscape #landscapelovers #earth #earthpix #earthofficial #earthfocus #travelphotography #travelpics #travelblogger #getoutthere #alltrails #explore #exploremore #roamtheplanet

Why everyone needs to go to Moab at least once in their life

Why everyone needs to go to Moab at least once in their life? ⬇️ Because where else can you wake up and choose between two national parks and a state park… all within 45 minutes? 🏜 Arches National Park – sunrise at Delicate Arch, Devils Garden adventures, and more arches than you can count. 🌄 Canyonlands National Park – massive canyons, epic overlooks, and views that feel like the Grand Canyon without the crowds. 🌅 Dead Horse Point State Park – one of the most unreal sunset views in the Southwest. And that’s just the beginning. Jeep trails. River rafting. Stargazing. Slot canyons. Endless hikes for every level. Moab isn’t just a stop on a Utah road trip… it’s the kind of place that ruins “normal” landscapes forever. Save this for your future Utah trip ✨

A great Arches National Park alternative if you want to skip the crowds. Now that the park has dropped the timed-entry system, the entrance lines this summer will likely be worse than ever. Skip the traffic and hike here instead. No lines, no fees, and just a 3-mile trek and this view. THE QUICK GUIDE ⬇️ 📍 Location: Corona Arch Trailhead (Potash Rd) 🥾 Distance: 3 miles round-trip 🧗‍♂️ Note: You’ll cross railroad tracks at the start. 🎟️ Cost: Free Save this for your summer Moab trip. 📌 #coronaarch #moabutah #exploreutah #visitutah #hikingadventures 📍 The Trail Guide 1. Drive: North on Hwy 191 from Moab. Turn Left on Hwy 279 (Potash Road). 2. Park: Drive 10.1 miles to the lot on your right. 3. Route: Cross the road and the railroad tracks. Follow the green paint on the rock.

Utah’s best sunrise 👇 🤯 If you only set an early alarm once on your trip, make it for this one. Mesa Arch is short, iconic, and absolutely unreal when the light hits just right. No permits. No brutal climb. Just a front-row seat to one of the most photographed sunrises in the world. Here’s what to know before you go: 🥾 0.6 miles roundtrip (easy loop) ⏰ Arrive 30–45 minutes before sunrise to snag a good spot 📍 Located in the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands 🌄 Watch the sun rise through the arch and light up the canyon below 🚗 Paved road all the way to the trailhead 📱 Download the trail map on @alltrails and bring a headlamp for the walk in Add this one to your Utah National Parks list. The early wake-up is worth it. 👋 We’re Katie and Joe — full-time travel creators on a mission to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks. We’ve hit 45 so far, and Mesa Arch still ranks as one of our favorite sunrise views. @visitutah @discovermoab @visitmoab @canyonlandsnps #visitutah #moabutah #canyonlandsnationalpark #travelcouple #adventurecouple

Have you hiked this arch in Moab, Utah 👀 📍 Jeep Arch 🥾 3.8 miles round trip 📈 950 ft elevation gain 💪 Moderate: some slickrock and light scrambling Jeep Arch is one of my favorite arches in Moab…and it’s not even located inside Arches National Park 😱 The trailhead sits just down Potash Road right after the trailhead to Corona Arch, which means it usually gets overshadowed by its very popular neighbor. But I honestly like this hike as a whole way more 🧡 The slickrock sections make it feel a little more adventurous, the crowds are way lighter, and the arch really does look like the silhouette of a Jeep 🙌 Every time I stand underneath one of these arches, I’m reminded how massive they actually are. Photos and videos never quite capture the scale. If you’re already heading to Corona, this one is 100% worth adding on 🫶 If you’re new here, hi, I’m Cassie 👋 I spend a lot of time outside hiking trails, wandering around nature, and not taking myself too seriously. If that feels like your vibe, you’re in the right place 🌲 Follow along @thatoutdoorsygal 💕 Enjoy the beauty, but always leave it better than you found it. Let’s keep nature wild and wonderful 💚 #leavenotrace

It’s that time of year-our favorite time of year to visit Southern Utah. We’ll be sharing some of our favorites over the next little bit. Anyone else love a Southern Utah adventure this time of year? 🙋‍♀️ What’s your fav park or area to visit? 📍 Wilson Arch, Moab. With an arch height of 91 feet, it’s an impressive view. Even better, it’s only .2 miles to the arch from the road. Your car is never out of view. However, it’s a scramble to get to it. A very doable scramble for most though. If you’re one of the 3900 people that saved our reel on Druid Arch, 🤯 you’ll want to SAVE this to that itinerary as it’s in route! You’ll drive right past it and can’t miss it. It’s 25 minutes outside of Moab and so worth a quick stop. Hit that LIKE button if you want more Southern Utah content so we know to share more! Enjoy!
