When I heard the news of the new record broken by @sussexuni and Universal Quantum, I just had to share. Their passion and excitement is so infectious. They’re paving the way toward breakthroughs that could tackle some of the most complex challenges in medicine, science, and technology, and I find that really cool :) Note: I’ve referred to qubits as “being both 0 and 1 at the same time” but it’s worth pointing out this is a “lie-to-children” used as a simplification for people new to the subject. If you take a formal university subject in quantum computing, you will learn that qubits are vectors in a complex linear space - but that’s a little too complex to describe in a short!
