After 3 weeks of online school, I can officially say… we’re loving it 🙌 Here are the top 3 things making virtual learning actually work for our family: 1️⃣ Shorter school days – Once the kids finish their assignments, they’re free to log out. 2️⃣ Minimal homework – Thanks to built-in breaks during the school day, most of the work gets done before “after school” even starts. 3️⃣ Flexible Fridays – Just a quick 20-minute homeroom, then they work on their own schedule. 👏 Online learning has been a surprisingly positive experience — way less stress, more flexibility, and happier kids. 💻✨ #OnlineSchool #VirtualLearning #HomeschoolLife #RemoteLearning #ParentingHacks #MomLife #momvlog

Sometimes taking the road less traveled is precisely what you need. Consider this your sign to try virtual school. #virtualschool #BrightspireVirtualSchool #onlineschool #parenting #schoolchoice

1.) It can be incredibly lonely - with no classroom teams or teacher’s lounges, it can feel very isolating. I try and keep up with fellow online teachers and friends throughout the day to feel a sense of community. . 2.) The schedule is inconsistent - depending on the time of year and what kind of classes you’re teaching, enrollment numbers ebb and flow. . 3.) Even online, it can be tough to say goodbye to your students - I just had 2 seniors log into class and show me their diploma’s - it was both exciting and emotional. . . #onlineteacher#onlineteaching #outschool #outschoolteacher #teacherlife #lifeofateacher #teachfromhome

🌟 Trading the classroom for an online space was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 🌍 The freedom, flexibility, and ability to teach from anywhere are unmatched. Sure, building a business comes with its challenges (hello, endless to-do lists 🙃), but the rewards—working with amazing students, making my own schedule, and helping kids find their love for reading—are absolutely priceless. 💻✨ If you’re thinking about taking the leap into online teaching, trust me—it’s worth it. 💪 💛 does any of this resonate with you? 1. Tech (Chromebooks, let’s be real) is being used in the wrong way in most schools. Kids are glued to Chromebooks all day staring at digital worksheets. AI tutoring is the future of education because it allows each student to move at their own pace and level and reduces academic time to just 2-3 hours per day. 2. Schools should not be giving homework out. How is 8 hours at school not enough?? 3. We are raising too many consumers. Schools should put more emphasis on teaching kids how to be creators instead of consumers. 4. Money doesn’t fix everything in education. Even if your school received more funding, the core issues would likely still remain, and kids would still fail to thrive. 5. Kids will be boring adults if you don’t teach them this skill: “Be interested and be interesting.” 6. Standard report cards are pointless. Letter grades don’t convey enough information to parents or students to be helpful. 7. Kids need to learn how to be gritty. Failure is crucial, and schools giving into participation trophy culture will raise a generation of weak adults. 8. Human-taught life skills will always be the secret sauce of our model. Oh, and teachers shouldn’t have to teach academics, grade papers or tests, communicate with parents, or live off of a terrible salary. 9. Kids should be rewarded for their work at school with money, prizes, or experiences! 10. All kids deserve an education that teaches life skills AND academics. I believe AI is the great equalizer of education, and can allow for systemic change like nothing ever before. Do you agree with all of these?

Outschool has sooooooo many different options for online classes — you can use it for academic classes or full on homeschool grade level classes. You can use it for fun classes for your kids like cooking, lego building, sewing, drawing, you name it! We have been using Outschool since my kids were 3 years old and I have been teaching on outschool for 4 years. It really is a wonderful platform and my kids are totally obsessed. They are constantly asking me to sign them up for new Outschool classes lol!!! #greenscreen #outschool #homeschool #onlineclasses #onlinecurriculum #outschoolteacher

Google replaced the traditional education system with AI. Google’s new “Learn Your Way” uses AI to personalize learning from any book, document, or research paper based on how you understand best. Instead of one-size-fits-all lessons, it rewrites concepts using examples, analogies, visuals, and formats that actually make sense to you. This goes beyond education. Personalized learning powered by AI can transform how teams onboard, how founders train employees, and how professionals upskill. Internal documents, training material, and research can now be turned into content people retain. The real advantage in the AI era isn’t access to information. It’s how fast you can learn and apply it.
